University AI research labs

Give faculty and research scholars a shared environment for experiments that outgrow individual laptops. Curobotic designs university AI research lab solutions around research priorities, responsible access and a practical operating model for the institution.

How the solution fits together

Built around your users.

Research brief

Collect representative experiments, user groups and the boundaries for research data.

Inside the solution

The complete working environment.

Research-led capacity planning

Start with the departments, methods and datasets the lab will support. Image analysis, language models and numerical research can require different balances of accelerator memory, CPU capacity and storage. A workload register makes those differences visible and helps an institution phase capacity without assuming every project needs the same hardware.

Shared resources with clear ownership

The design defines who can request access, how projects receive resources and who maintains the environment. Interactive experimentation and longer batch jobs may need separate resource policies. Faculty leads retain academic responsibility while administrators receive a documented route for account changes, capacity reviews and support escalation.

An environment researchers can reproduce

Software versions, libraries and project environments are recorded so a published experiment can be revisited. Shared notebooks or a research portal can reduce the friction of initial access. Dataset storage, working space and retained research outputs have separate purposes; their access and retention rules are agreed with the institution.

From installation to research use

The delivery plan combines equipment readiness, software deployment and an acceptance exercise selected by the research team. Orientation covers job submission, data movement and common failure cases. Ongoing platform administration and assistance with individual research models are distinct services, allowing the institution to decide which skills it wants to maintain internally.

Quote-based university lab proposals

The proposal itemises shared compute, storage, networking, software, deployment and training against the approved scope. Power, cooling and room preparation are reviewed before installation. Share your research themes, concurrent users and existing facilities for a configuration and delivery quotation appropriate to your campus and procurement process.

Connected services & systems

Complete your project scope.

Can several departments fund and share the lab?

Yes. The proposal should define the contribution and access model before installation. Project accounts, reservations and usage reporting can support a shared facility, but the institution must agree how competing demand is prioritised and how future costs are allocated.

Can the lab start small and expand later?

A phased design can reserve room, electrical capacity and network options for expansion. Compatibility, support terms and the remaining capacity of shared components must be reassessed at each phase. We document these dependencies instead of promising unlimited expansion from any starting configuration.

Can this project be delivered in Guwahati and other Northeast locations?

Curobotic is based in Guwahati, Assam. We scope projects for organisations in Assam, Itanagar and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh, and Shillong. Remote preparation, site visits, freight and on-site installation are agreed in the quotation according to access, facilities and the work required.
