Scientific computing & simulation

Give research and engineering teams a computing environment suited to their simulations. Curobotic scopes scientific computing solutions around the application, validated numerical result and operating process, from individual compute nodes to shared HPC systems.

Inside the solution

The complete working environment.

Applications define the architecture

Simulation requirements vary across computational fluid dynamics, materials work, modelling and numerical analysis. We collect the actual software, representative problem size and current run behaviour. Some applications need more memory or faster individual cores; others can use distributed resources. The proposal should explain which characteristics drive the hardware selection.

Compatible software and licensing

Compilers, libraries, solvers and licence services are part of the delivery brief. Open-source and commercial applications each have installation and operating requirements. We record supported versions and responsibility for usage rights. Application development, scientific validation and specialist solver configuration are separately scoped where they require domain expertise beyond platform deployment.

Queues and research data

Shared simulation systems need job submission rules, project storage and a way to recover results. We plan working space, retained outputs and transfer paths to analysis workstations. Queue limits and maintenance procedures are agreed with researchers so a long-running job has predictable operating conditions and a documented route for support.

Evidence for acceptance

A representative case provides a more useful acceptance exercise than a headline hardware figure. The method records input size, software settings, resource allocation and a check of the resulting output. Performance comparisons keep those conditions visible, allowing procurement and research teams to understand what was demonstrated and what remains workload dependent.

Quote-based scientific computing

Pricing depends on application scope, node configuration, storage, licences, benchmarking and installation. The quotation can separate a pilot from a later expansion. Share your solver names, example problem, current runtime and data requirements for an architecture that can be evaluated against a meaningful research or engineering task.

Connected services & systems

Complete your project scope.

Should our simulation use CPUs or GPUs?

That depends on the application implementation and the specific problem. A GPU is useful only when the software supports it appropriately and the workload benefits. We review the documented requirements and can scope comparative tests before recommending a configuration.

Can existing scientific licences be reused?

Possibly, subject to the vendor’s licence terms, host restrictions and permitted users or cores. The licence owner should confirm those rights. The project identifies licence-server work and additional entitlements separately from hardware supply and platform installation.

Can this project be delivered in Guwahati and other Northeast locations?

Curobotic is based in Guwahati, Assam. We scope projects for organisations in Assam, Itanagar and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh, and Shillong. Remote preparation, site visits, freight and on-site installation are agreed in the quotation according to access, facilities and the work required.
