High-speed networking equipment

Connect computing resources with a network selected for the traffic they must carry. Curobotic scopes high-speed networking equipment for server, storage and research environments, accounting for endpoints, cable paths and management as part of the configuration.

Scope & specification

Configure around your workload.

Discuss requirements, delivery and support with our Guwahati team. Pricing is quote-based and agreed against the proposed scope.

A network brief based on traffic

We distinguish ordinary application access, storage transfers, cluster communication and management traffic. Their capacity and latency requirements may differ. The brief records endpoints, simultaneous flows and growth expectations, allowing a topology to be proposed around the intended data path rather than selecting switches solely by their advertised port speed.

Compatible switches and adapters

The configuration identifies switch models, endpoint adapters, supported interfaces and the required software features. Existing systems must support the selected connection method. If a specialised fabric is considered, application and platform compatibility are reviewed first. The quotation names components and dependencies so a complete link can be evaluated before purchase.

Optics, cables and physical installation

Transceivers, cable types, lengths and connectors need to match both ends of each connection. Rack layout and cable routing affect installation and maintenance. The scope includes a port and cable schedule where appropriate, with any building cabling or pathway work separated from equipment supply. Missing accessories should not emerge only when commissioning begins.

Management and validation

Network administration requires an access model, addressing, configuration records and a recovery route. The deployment scope can include segmentation, monitoring and agreed connectivity tests. A faster link does not guarantee a faster application, so acceptance distinguishes basic link operation from a workload transfer or communication test that exercises the complete path.

Quote-based networking supply

Pricing reflects topology, port count, interface types, optics, cabling, software entitlements and installation. Support conditions and expansion options are stated in the proposal. Share an existing network diagram, endpoint inventory and traffic requirements for an itemised quotation that covers the equipment and accessories needed for the planned connections.

From requirements to handover

Plan. Validate. Put it to work.

Traffic map

Identify endpoints, flows and the required separation between traffic types.

Link specification

Select compatible switches, adapters, optics and cables.

Network handover

Test the agreed paths and document ports, settings and management access.

Connected services & systems

Complete your project scope.

Should we choose Ethernet or a specialised HPC fabric?

The decision depends on application support, communication patterns, scale, budget and operating experience. We assess those requirements and the supported platform combinations. A specialised fabric should solve an identified workload need, rather than being added as a label to every cluster proposal.

Are optics and cables included with a switch?

Only when listed in the bill of materials. Ports, transceivers, breakout cables and endpoint adapters can have separate compatibility and purchasing requirements. The quotation should account for the complete connection at both ends, including any spare or expansion capacity requested.

Can this project be delivered in Guwahati and other Northeast locations?

Curobotic is based in Guwahati, Assam. We scope projects for organisations in Assam, Itanagar and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh, and Shillong. Remote preparation, site visits, freight and on-site installation are agreed in the quotation according to access, facilities and the work required.
