An admission journey starts with clear programme information and a way for applicants to return to an unfinished form. Required fields, programme choices and eligibility questions should reflect the institution’s published rules. Applicants need understandable validation and a clear view of what remains to be submitted.

The review process needs defined roles, document requirements and a way to handle incomplete or corrected submissions. Reviewers should see the information required for their decisions without gaining unnecessary access to unrelated records. The institution remains responsible for the criteria and approval decisions.

Application fees and admission payments are different events and may follow different rules. Gateway access, receipts, callback handling and reconciliation must be specified together. A successful checkout screen should not, on its own, be treated as confirmation that the institutional record is correctly updated.

Staff need a shared understanding of submitted, reviewed, offered and confirmed records. Reports should use agreed definitions so application counts and payment totals can be reconciled. Export permissions and responsibility for correcting exceptional cases belong in the operating plan.

Capacity assumptions, backup procedures and support arrangements need to reflect the admission window rather than an ordinary demonstration environment.
