AI & HPC user and administrator training

A faculty member preparing a class, a researcher submitting simulations and an administrator maintaining nodes need different sessions. We agree prerequisites and outcomes for each audience. This keeps the programme focused on practical tasks instead of treating a general introduction to AI as sufficient preparation for running a shared computing environment.

Exercises can cover logging in, choosing an environment, submitting work, finding outputs and understanding resource limits. Participants use representative datasets that are appropriate to the session. We include what to do when a job fails or a dependency is unavailable, so the workshop reflects routine use rather than a single successful demonstration.

For teaching labs, the scope can include preparing notebooks, managing class accounts, resetting exercises and planning simultaneous use. Course owners decide the curriculum and assessment requirements. We help translate those requirements into repeatable lab activities and identify where additional content development or subject expertise is needed.

Administrator sessions use the actual system’s access model, monitoring, maintenance and escalation procedures. Exercises may include onboarding a user, reviewing a queue, checking capacity and rehearsing a controlled restart. Changes are performed in an agreed training environment or maintenance window so instruction does not unexpectedly interrupt production work.

Pricing depends on audience size, delivery format, preparation, session duration and the depth of custom exercises. Materials, lab access, travel and follow-up sessions are listed in the proposal.
