Backup & disaster recovery

Prepare a recovery process that can be demonstrated before an incident. Curobotic’s backup and disaster recovery solutions connect business priorities, protected data and restore procedures to the systems and people that must resume work.

Inside the solution

The complete working environment.

Recovery objectives by workload

Different services can tolerate different amounts of downtime and lost recent data. We ask owners to define those limits and identify application dependencies. These requirements guide backup frequency and recovery design. A single retention setting for every server is rarely an adequate substitute for a workload-specific recovery conversation.

Protection and retention design

The scope defines what is backed up, where copies are stored and who can change or remove them. Retention, capacity growth and access separation are planned together. Off-site or separately controlled copies can be considered according to risk and feasibility. The design names exclusions such as temporary datasets so there is no ambiguity after a failure.

Applications and restoration order

Restoring files is only part of returning an application to service. Databases, identity, network settings and external dependencies may need coordinated recovery. We document the intended order and the credentials or approvals required. Application owners participate in acceptance because a successful backup job cannot confirm that the restored service behaves correctly.

Exercises and operational evidence

A recovery exercise validates selected scenarios in an agreed environment and records what happened. Monitoring covers failed jobs, missed schedules and capacity limits. The handover establishes who reviews alerts, when restore tests are repeated and how system changes affect protection. Recovery targets remain testable objectives rather than unsupported promises on a proposal cover.

Quote-based recovery solutions

The quotation depends on protected systems, data volumes, retention, destinations, software licences and required exercises. Secondary-site facilities and continuing operations are separately identified. Share your current backup inventory and business priorities to scope a protection plan with practical restore instructions and a defined review schedule.

Are snapshots the same as backups?

Snapshots can support particular recovery workflows, but their protection depends on where they reside and what failures they survive. The design should distinguish snapshots, independent copies and application-consistent recovery. We assess the actual platform rather than assuming every snapshot arrangement provides the same protection.

Can you guarantee no data loss?

Recovery capability depends on the agreed design, successful operations and the incident scenario. We define objectives and test representative recovery procedures. A blanket no-data-loss promise would conceal limits such as the interval between copies or the availability of application dependencies.

Can this project be delivered in Guwahati and other Northeast locations?

Curobotic is based in Guwahati, Assam. We scope projects for organisations in Assam, Itanagar and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh, and Shillong. Remote preparation, site visits, freight and on-site installation are agreed in the quotation according to access, facilities and the work required.
