Data brief
Identify access patterns, clients, retention and the required usable capacity.

Store and deliver data in the form your applications need. Curobotic scopes NAS, SAN and parallel storage systems for business and research environments, comparing access methods, usable capacity and operating requirements before a configuration is proposed.
Scope & specification
Discuss requirements, delivery and support with our Guwahati team. Pricing is quote-based and agreed against the proposed scope.
Request a quoteFile shares, block storage and parallel file systems serve different application patterns. We review client systems, data formats and the way jobs read and write information. The right choice depends on more than capacity: permissions, integration, management skills and the behaviour of the applications all influence the storage architecture.
Raw drive capacity differs from the space available after protection, metadata and operating reserves. The proposal states the intended usable capacity and its assumptions. Growth, retention and temporary working space are planned separately, so procurement can compare systems using the amount of data they can actually hold under the chosen configuration.
Storage throughput and response time depend on workload, media, controllers, network connections and clients. Large sequential datasets behave differently from many small files or transactional applications. A useful acceptance exercise names the dataset and access pattern, avoiding a specification that relies entirely on a peak figure obtained under unrelated conditions.
The scope defines shares or volumes, access roles, monitoring and maintenance procedures. Backup destinations and restore requirements are considered separately from storage redundancy. Migration work includes a plan for validation and cutover, with application owners confirming that data and permissions remain correct after the new system becomes the active source.
Pricing depends on access architecture, usable capacity, media, controllers, networking, software and support. Migration, installation and independent backup are itemised when required. Share your data volumes, growth and representative applications for a quotation that explains both the capacity delivered and the conditions under which it will be evaluated.

No. A protection layout may help the system tolerate specified component failures, but it does not replace an independent recovery plan for deletion, corruption or a wider incident. The quotation distinguishes storage protection from backup copies, retention and restore testing.
That depends on concurrency, dataset access and measured demand. A smaller lab may work well with a simpler shared storage system. We review the workload and operating skills before adding the complexity and cost of a parallel storage architecture.
Curobotic is based in Guwahati, Assam. We scope projects for organisations in Assam, Itanagar and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh, and Shillong. Remote preparation, site visits, freight and on-site installation are agreed in the quotation according to access, facilities and the work required.
