Edge AI & computer vision

Process information close to the place it is captured. Curobotic’s edge AI and computer vision solutions connect cameras or other inputs, a suitable local device and an application workflow, with performance and operating conditions defined through a focused pilot.

How the solution fits together

Built around your users.

Pilot brief

Define the event, operating environment and how results will be evaluated.

Inside the solution

The complete working environment.

A measurable application brief

We begin with the event or condition the system must detect and what a person should do with the result. Examples may involve equipment observation, inspection or activity counting. The scope defines acceptable errors and review requirements, avoiding an open-ended promise that a model can recognise everything visible in a camera feed.

Inputs and deployment conditions

Camera position, image quality, lighting, movement and environmental conditions influence results. A site review or representative sample helps identify those constraints before device selection. Data collection must have an appropriate purpose and permissions. The design also considers network availability, physical access, power and how a device will be maintained at its installed location.

Model and device fit

The chosen model has to run within the device’s compute, memory and thermal limits. We test the complete input-to-output workflow at the required rate, including preprocessing and application logic. Existing models may need adaptation or new training data; those tasks are separately scoped and evaluated with examples representative of the intended environment.

Deployment and ongoing review

Device provisioning, access control, software updates and failure reporting are part of rollout. Local processing can reduce a dependency on continuous remote inference, but it does not eliminate every network or data flow. Operators need a way to identify unreliable results, review changes in the scene and return to a safe manual process when necessary.

Quote-based edge AI projects

Pricing depends on use case, sites, inputs, device count, model adaptation and application integrations. A pilot can establish practical accuracy and operating requirements before a larger order. Share sample conditions, desired actions and installation locations for a quotation that separates equipment, model work, software and continuing support.

Connected services & systems

Complete your project scope.

Does edge AI work without an internet connection?

Some processing can run locally if the device, model and application are designed for it. Updates, reporting, authentication or remote services may still need connectivity. The proposal specifies offline behaviour and tests the conditions that matter at your site.

Can an existing camera system be reused?

That depends on stream access, resolution, frame rate, positioning and the application’s requirements. We review available interfaces and representative footage with the required permissions. A camera being connected does not by itself prove that its images are suitable for the intended model.

Can this project be delivered in Guwahati and other Northeast locations?

Curobotic is based in Guwahati, Assam. We scope projects for organisations in Assam, Itanagar and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh, and Shillong. Remote preparation, site visits, freight and on-site installation are agreed in the quotation according to access, facilities and the work required.
